Ultimate Amber © adults n bubs Salt n Pepper matching necklace set

Ultimate Amber © matching adults n bubs set, made from genuine Baltic amber and is 44cm long and the bubs necklace is 33cm long. The adults necklace is made with Walnut and Lemon beads and the bubs necklace with Walnut and Lemon coloured beads.  Total combined weight of both necklaces is 20grams of pure 100% Baltic Amber

Ultimate Amber© necklaces feature significantly larger amber balls (5 – 7 mm in diameter rather than the regular bead size 3 - 4 mm) which provide increased skin contact.  Smooth skin contact is crucial to maximize effectiveness and the balls are almost perfectly rounded.

Baltic Amber is fossil resin, which is appreciated for its colour, clarity and beauty.  Although not mineralised, it is still generally classified as a gemstone.  A common misconception is that Amber is made of tree sap, but it’s not. Sap is the fluid that circulates through a plant's vascular system, while resin is the semi-solid amorphous organic substance secreted in pockets and canals through epithelial cells of the tree.

Baltic amber is fossil resin produced by pine trees, which grew in Northern Europe - from southern regions of the present-day Scandinavia and nearby regions of the bed of the Baltic Sea.  Most of the world's amber is in the range of 30–90 million years old. As it used to be soft and sticky tree resin, amber often contains insects and even small vertebrates, known in the jewellery world as ‘Inclusions’.  Baltic amber is distinguished from many other ambers from all around the world, by the presence within it of high levels of succinic acid, hence Baltic amber is otherwise known as succinite.

Semi-fossilized resin or ‘sub-fossil’ amber is known as Copal, and has does not contain the healing qualities of Baltic Amber is is less than 30 million years old and not from the same tree which contains the succinic acid.  Copal usually comes from areas such as  China, Dominican Republic and New Zealand.

Amber occurs in a range of different colours. As well as the usual yellowy-orange that is associated with the colour "amber", amber itself can range from whitish through a pale lemon yellow to brown and almost black. There is also red amber which is sometimes known as cherry amber, green amber, pink amber and even blue amber, which is rare and highly sought after.

Any adults can enjoy the benefits of wearing amber, which can assist with mastitis, low energy levels and any general swelling. When amber is worn on the skin, the skin’s warmth releases miniscule amounts of healing oils (succinic acid) from amber, which are then absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream. Scientific findings show that amber is electromagnetically alive and produces significant amounts of organic, purely natural energy. Amber beads collect an electrostatic charge when touched, and the oxidized surface contains the highest amount of succinic acid. It is a bio-stimulant that has a positive effect on the nervous system, the heart, and the kidneys and stimulates recovery processes.

Perfect as a unique gift for a new mum or dad!
